Though when it came to conflict resolution in dealing with a hostile work environment they were not very attentive or sympathetic. It was all about just getting your work done.

There also wasn't much recognition or compensation for ideas used to help the workplace run more efficiently. Being micromanaged was highly frustrating and didn't help create a positive work environment. I also found it very difficult to promote. Upward mobility seems to be more about nepotism than work experience.

The DMV is extremely micro managed i felt i was losing connection with the outside world. Its a fun place to work and learn or to build your resume and the offer a great pension plan but the hourly wage is pennies. Pros Fun place to work.
